The Energy Technology Systems Analysis Programme (ETSAP) is an active network of modellers around the world. Energy Modelling Lab takes part in the biannual ETSAP workshops, which focus on the practice of modelling.
We also take part in training activities and in collaboration on projects that improve ETSAP tools such as the TIMES models. Our contributions to the workshops are based on current and future projects, particularly within EU, Nordic and Danish research programmes.
TIMES is the model generator developed within ETSAP and the basis for the energy system models we build and use.
Experience from our projects is shared at the workshops, and methods from the network are brought back into our own modelling work.
The contributions draw on research within EU, Nordic and Danish programmes and on the projects we carry out for our clients.
